Clean Spark App Privacy Policy

Effective date: 25 October 2026.

This policy describes information used by the Clean Spark staff application. The app is for authorized Clean Spark staff. Company administrators issue staff accounts and manage work sites; the app does not offer public self-registration.

Account and company-site information

The app uses staff usernames, email addresses, phone numbers where supplied, account identifiers, roles and account status to authenticate staff and control access. It uses Supabase authentication and database services to process account and company-site information. Site records can include site names, addresses, coordinates and permitted work-site boundaries. Administrative actions may be recorded in audit logs.

Location checks

When starting a job, the app requests the device’s current location to check whether it is within a configured work-site boundary. This check compares the location with site coordinates on the device. The current employee site-check flow does not upload the employee’s GPS coordinates as a job-history record. Administrators can separately use their current location to create a company site pin, which is saved with the site record.

The app requests location during use; it does not enable background location tracking. You can change location permission in iOS Settings. A location-restricted job may not start if permission is unavailable or the site cannot be verified.

Work photos, inspections and sign-off documents

The app processes photos you choose to add, inspection responses, comments, job/site details, names, optional client email addresses and signatures to prepare inspection reports and sign-off sheets. In the current version, these report screens generate PDF or image documents on the device. Saving or sharing an exported document uses the destination you select.

Completed-job and unfinished-job lists in this version are held in the current app session. They are not a persistent cloud backup and may be lost when the app process ends. Save or export documents you need to keep. Removing an app account does not automatically remove documents previously exported or shared.

Service providers and network requests

Supabase provides authentication and company-data services. Work-site maps request map tiles from OpenStreetMap servers. These network requests expose information such as the device’s IP address and requested map tiles to the relevant provider. Exported files may also be handled by a storage or sharing service you select.

The current app does not include an advertising SDK or a dedicated analytics SDK. This app policy is separate from the company website’s cookie and analytics practices. Service-provider processing, security logs and retention must be considered when handling a privacy request.

Access, corrections, retention and deletion

Contact Clean Spark if you want to correct account information, request account deletion or ask about information held about you. Clean Spark reviews requests and deletes or de-identifies personal information that is no longer needed. Work records may be retained where needed for legitimate business or legal purposes. Exported reports and documents are managed separately from the app account.

A company administrator can delete staff accounts using the administration tools. Provider logs and exported files may require separate handling. Clean Spark can explain the records involved and any applicable retention exceptions when responding to a request.

Your permissions

Camera, photo and location permissions can be changed in iOS Settings. Declining permission can prevent the related feature from working.
